Jazz Manouche

BETTER THAN CARTOONS QUINTET

Jazz Manouche is a music style made popular by Django Reinhardt in the Parisian Jazz scene around the '30s and '40s. We play his compositions, and the standards he covered from the classic American Jazz Songbook.

We met at the "hot club" jazz ensemble at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago.
